About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Creating a time machine. Then destroying it for the good of all mankind.

ABOUT ME

I'm very tall: 6'8", or approx 203 centimeters if you prefer. I have 2 parents, 4 siblings, and 10 nieces and nephews. I'm 24 years old, and I write day and night. During the day I get paid a modest amount for it by a small media production company in Dallas, Texas. At night I write what I hope to be paid immodest amounts for in the future, primarily screenplays. I make short films, which are similar to long films, only they don't last as long. I played every sport growing up, including basketball. However, contrary to the popular opinion of strangers I do not, and should not play basketball in the NBA. I love to read and play guitar/write songs, though I'm considerably better at the former. I'm not religious, I'm a Christian, though depending on what part of the world you're in those may or may not be thought similar.

PHILOSOPHY

"God is most glorified in us, when we are most satisfied in Him."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't known about it long. I don't have that much opportunity to travel, and I don't live in a major tourist destination, but I've heard enough about it over the last few months and days from people I've met to become a believer. In the future, I am sure my couch will be open (have to talk with my roommates when I return to the states). For the moment, I'm in a foreign country, and there is no couch in my hotel room.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None of my own, only those I've heard from acquaintances. They swear by it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmm... When I turned 10 we had a birthday party at my parents ranch. My friends and I were using a 30 foot bank as a mudslide, and one of them was a little hefty. He got stuck in the mud--up to his armpits--near the bottom. We couldn't get him out. My dad had to lasso him, tie the other end to the back of the tractor, and pull him out. I've only seen that once.

Teach, Learn, Share

In China, the person who sits in the seat facing the entry to the room is the one paying for the meal. If you don't like it, take their seat.

People in any country appreciate at least an attempt to speak their language. And if you know you're going, put in some effort. The first words out of your mouth should never be "Do you speak English."

Anyone know the best way for a non-EU citizen to get a job in the EU?
