ABOUT ME

A pretty laid back bloke, especially seeing as I've no set plans for this trip and just going with the flow really. A good sense of humor and banter is usually never far away. I can somedays seem to have a mental age in single figures, but can also work and behave in a very professional and mature manner. I like to treat people as I'd want to be treated in any situation, with respect, whether it be people's property and possessions, emotions or their beliefs.

PHILOSOPHY

'Is the juice worth the squeeze?' This is a saying I picked up from a film I saw a while back and pretty much means is all the effort you go through worth the reward in the end? I've really caught the travelling bug and all the work I've done over the past few years has funded my trip, so all those long hours are worth it so far!!

I'm currently traveling the USA, so my only participation currently is hopefully occupying your sofa, floor or any small space you can offer :).

Currently zip, I'm a couch surfing virgin, this was recommended by people I've met and highly recommended!

Interests

I'm a self confessed workaholic and I'm in the rare position where I enjoy the uniqueness of my work as a race mechanic as it involves great enthusiastic people, travelling and some pretty fast and expensive cars. In the rare time I have off I do the usual, see my friends, play sports, go out and enjoy myself and spend time with my family and dog.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - Pretty much anything, I enjoy pretty much every genre bar heavy metal but even that has its exceptions. I seem to have a guilty pleasure for country and western.
Films - I'm quite into my sci-fi, so Transformers, Ironman, the Marvel films are all very good! Again most genres apart from horror.
Books - If it has pictures I'm there, not really a book man I'm not going to lie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Summiting the tallest mountain in the UK with my best friend of many years after an interesting drive to Scotland was a very proud moment. Secondly, receiving the phone call that I had managed to land my dream job working in Motorsport. And thirdly, being introduced to another one of my long term friends newborn daughter, Uncle Beall!

I can show you how to look after your car, people just seem to 'get in and drive them'. They need looking after just like we do :P
