Regarding movies, I love everything Charlie Kaufman has been involved in.

For music, I'm really into radiohead, the smiths, my bloody valentine, aphex twin, burial and lou reed.

My favorite writer is Philip k dick and my favorite book is probably the brothers karamazov.

I'm willing to give my host some money, buy them a meal, or buy them a drink. I can also help clean around the house! :) my mindset when staying with people is to always leave things the way that I found them.
