ABOUT ME

Currently finishing up my Master's degree at the Rotterdam School of Management in the Netherlands and living in Germany. I love meeting people from all over the world and exchanging wisdom, culture, and fun.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel generally that the meaning of life is to meet as many people, go as many places, learn as much, and have as many different experiences as possible.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined couchsurfing last August and had two great experiences with hosts in Rotterdam, as well as attending several Rotterdam couchsurfing meetups. What I love most about couchsurfing is the sense of interaction and community it inspires.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My girlfriend and I spent a week couchsurfing when we first arrived in Rotterdam at the end of last August. Apart from formal "couchsurfing," I also have significant experience both staying on the couches of others and returning the favor by hosting people on mine. I've had many successful group living situations with people who were strangers prior to our moving in together, so I'm very familiar with the feeling of sharing space with new people and the outlook and mutual respect needed to make it work.

Amazing thing seen: Probably the most incredible thing I've ever witnessed are the 5th century ruins at the top of Sigiriya, a massive rock in the middle of Sri Lanka.

More recently, New Year's Eve in Berlin.
