ABOUT ME

I am a recent graduate of the University of Miami with concentrations in Spanish and Motion Pictures. I like to think of myself as a friendly and easy-going guy; always willing to meet new people and make new friends.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a big believer in the golden rule: "Do to others what you would like to be done to you" and I try to live my life by that, so far it's worked out pretty well.

Another little phrase I like, which I must give credit to Cameron Crowe from his film "Almost Famous": "...never take it seriously, if ya never take it seriosuly, ya never get hurt, ya never get hurt, ya always have fun, and if you ever get lonely, just go to the record store and visit your friends."

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to CS but I think it's an awesome way for people to explore the cultures of the world, rather than trying to learn about it through a textbook, TV or the movies. I would love to host anyone who is looking for a couch to stay on.

Interests

Music, movies, and anything to do with the beach/ocean. I could talk about these three things for hours on end.

I enjoy going out, having a good time, drinking, dancing, listening to music. But I could also be completely content having a quiet, relaxing evening, having good conversations with good company.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: My taste really runs the gamut from artsy to hollywood blockbusters, it's best to just ask me, but here are a few of my favorites: Goodfellas, Jaws, The Big Lebowski, Pulp Fiction, Indiana Jones, Monty Python, Almost Famous, Love Actually, Forrest Gump

Music: probably even more diverse than my taste in movies but again, here's a sample: Miles Davis, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Johnny Cash, Led Zeppelin, Notorious B.I.G., Bob Marley, Bob Dylan, The Ramones, Frank Sinatra

Books: never was really a big reader...but I'll be the first to admit, I'm a big Harry Potter fan. Also one of my favorite books is a children's book that's called "Could Be Worse"...I just think it's a great way to look at things sometimes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen someone's chimney be struck by lightning and literally explode into pieces. Random? Maybe. But it was hands down the most awesome thing I've seen, in the true sense of the word.
