About Me

ABOUT ME
NOTE: Unfortunately I won't be able to host anybody in Winchester as I'll be cycling around Europe from the 26th February and will be going to Tanzania from the end of April til the end of July.

Recently graduated from Bristol studying Economics. In April I will be flying to Tanzania to work on an education project near Kilimanjaro for 3 months. Until then I will be cycling around Europe for a month as I enjoyed my tour last summer so much.

When I have money I tend to spend it on travelling, trainers and going to the pub.

PHILOSOPHY

When the wind changes direction, adjust your sails.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting new like-minded people from around the world.

Learn about the best kept secrets of a city or a town from the people who live there.

Interests

I play a lot of sports when I can and I'm a qualified sailing instructor.

I try to get to festivals when I can. Last summer I went to Pitch festival in Amsterdam, Peacock Society in Paris and Dimensions in Croatia.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have ridden a 125cc moped all the way through the mountains of Thailand to reach the Burma border. I did it with 3 friends wearing shorts and flipflops. We had plastic bags for waterproof jackets and what were pretty much saucepans for helmets.

We were taken in by a policemen to have dinner with his family, we got lost in the dark with no petrol, we found a waterfall that made natural water slides, we had a run-in with corrupt police, had a local give us a tour of his cave and so much more.
