About Me
Hey there! I'm a transplant from the U.S. who has made Saskatoon my home over the last nine years. I enjoy spending time with people, good food and drink, finding interesting things to do and see, photography, reading, learning new things, and annoying my cat. I share the apartment with my partner Neil Jones (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/neil_jung), so he would be hosting you as well if you were to stay with us.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have always been curious about people and have often had people stay a few nights. I like hearing people's stories and sharing mine, cooking for people and showing people my favorite spots around town. My partner, cat and I now have a comfy space and are looking forward to hanging out with new people!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hmmm...I don't know about amazing, but I have done a few interesting things. I have played in tidepools and forests. I have raised a calf that everyone expected to die...in the house. I have slept with a baby goat sneaking into my bed. I have won a soup cooking contest and some singing contests and have ridden down winding mountain roads lying in the back of a pickup truck. I have left everything behind and moved to a new country with what I could carry on the plane. I have made soup worth eating out of just t.v dinners. I have kayaked across a lake in the dark, performed slam poetry on stage, taken artistic nude photos of friends and strangers, done an entire morning bake at a cupcake shop with the scale broken-and had the cupcakes turn out right! (This is more impressive than it sounds, I assure you), I have dumpster dived and slept in mansions, ridden in horse shows and sprayed painted a giant penguin on a rusty train. In short, I have been a jack of all trades, master of none.
