About Me

During the past 18 months I travelled through Cuba, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Perú, Bolivia, Argentina, Ecuador and Colombia and the US.

I've recently moved to Barcelona with my girlfriend Katya and we are ready to start paying back the Couchsurfing community for all the great experiences we lived as guests thanks to it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting new people, sharing stories and experiences, making new friends.

Interests

I worked as a music promoter for a year and a half before hitting the road, and I love to organise and attend live music gigs.

I'm splitting my free time between planning the next stages of my journey and becoming a wine geek. 🍷

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Guy Ritchie and Stanley Kubrick films, and obviously Tarantino's... My favourite one? David Fincher's Fight Club!

TV series: I'm currently hooked with GOTHAM.
"It's always sunny in Philadelphia" keeps me quite busy too!

I mainly read essays these days. Galeano's "Las Vienas Abiertas De América Latina" has been on my shelf for ages and I can't stop re-reading it.
I loved Huxley's "Heaven and Hell" and "The Doors of Perception".
Novel-wise, I love Victorian Era classics. To name my favourite one, Wilde's "The Picture of Dorian Gray".

Speaking of music... my housemates can confirm there's always something blasting off my HiFi. It is 90% rock (80% of which are classics (60% Guns N Roses style)).
But I'm open to all genres, and due to my job there is always some Nottingham-based act I want to check out. You can be sure you'll hear something never heard before!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

10+ months backpacking around Central-, South- and North-America.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love spending time cooking delicious food (I'm not a vegan, but I love vegan cuisine!) with friends, old and new.

I'm a wine lover, always happy to broaden my horizons and share a good bottle with good people.
