About Me

I am an Italian university student: I currently study mathematics at Turin University. I live with both my parents, and I have a sisters who is older than me that already works. I like hanging out with friends and we often play table games, but I also like go out for a beer and a good talk!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel Europe doing Interrail or hitchhiking, to try the experience of traveling on a low budget, so I need to save money not booking hotels.

Interests

I’m deeply interested I’m anything that can surprise me with something new to learn, so I like studying, reading and traveling! But, even if one can read and study without many trouble, to travel is a more complicated thing to do. I’m really trying to enjoy good moments and new experiences!

Music, Movies, and Books

I really love everything that concerns culture! I have already read a considerable amount of books, mostly novels of Italian authors like Moravia and Pavese, but I also like foreign writers like Orwell and Hemingway, not forgetting Steinbeck! Along with novels, poetry is also something I can’t live without, and I like movies as well. My favorite directors are Kubrick, Sorrentino, Lars von Trier and the great Ingmar Bergman! Talking about music, I really love rock and roll, especially that from the ‘60s and the ‘70s, including bands like The Who, Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin. Finally, I often go to classical music concerts and to the theatre, and I really enjoy them!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived one year in Japan during my fourth year of high school!

Teach, Learn, Share

I think I have a lot to learn, and I’m really for it! I don’t know what I have to teach, but I hope I could be useful somehow!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook delicious Italian foods like Bolognese Pasta, Carbonara or Amatriciana. Also, I’m ready to help with house cleaning or English conversation for children and students.
