Hello everybody!

I am Matteo, italian Master student in Biomedical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, Italy. I am 24 years old and I had the opportunity to study abroad in my last two years of university: last year I stayed in Japan for 6 months, whereas this year I am living in Salt Lake City, United States for 4 months.

I got in touch with the coachsurfing world thank to the study experience I had in Japan. I have coachsurfed only one time in Tokyo, and it was a great, great experience. Unfortunately, I lived in a university housing so I hadn't the possibility to host. Here in Salt Lake I have the opportunity to do it, and I will be happy to host some travelers!

Anyway I have already travelled quite a bit, but still I am always looking to explore more. Among my best trips I have the Interrail in Europe through Munchen, Prague, Berlin, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Bruxelles and Bern and "il cammino degli Dei" (which is a 130km walk-way from Bologna to Firenze, Italy).
I am a huge fan of basketball even though I have been always practicing professional swimming which is my first love as a sport. Anyway, when I see a court on the street I always want to play, I am kind of mad for the Game.

As I am living in Salt Lake now, I would like to experience american culture, travelling, meet new people. I am open minded and easy going. I think coachsurfing gives a great option to meet and share experience and stories between people.
