About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm a very open minded and simple guy who enjoys meeting with all types of people since I believe everyone has something interesting to say. I don't take myself too seriously and generally enjoy doing anything spontaneously, but, at the same time, I am unexpectedly organized. I believe everyone should be treated with respect, and I reject any thinking based on a stereotype.
After spending one year in China when I was 16 living with a Chinese family, I caught the travel bug and haven't stopped since. I have been living in 6 countries in the last 3 years and hopefully many more will come. Apart from that, I don't think I have done anything exceptional , just trying to live the best life I can.
PHILOSOPHY
'Carpe Diem' is my motto (for reference watch 'Dead Poets Society') and I try to live up to that as much as I can. Of course, I am mindful not to offend or disrespect others just to benefit myself
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It is a great way to meet local people and get insights on the history and culture of the place. Additionally, the community is just full of pretty amazing people: I regularly attend couchsurfing events and cannot say I have ever been bored at any of them. Everyone is very open-minded and approachable and that's something I truly appreciate.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been a student until recently and only hosted when my housemates were ok with that. In general, I host whenever I can with no discrimination on gender, race or sexual orientation. I just appreciate if someone is not too high maintanance, arrogant, confrontational or picky, because that ruins the experience. Also, I always reply to anyone who sends a request, even if it's a copy-paste one, it's not great to be left wondering when someone will reply.
