Über mich
I'm a curious person, always happy to learn new things about the world. I’d describe myself as an explorer.
I live near Bergamo, but I often travel to Milan or other cities in northern Italy and nearby Switzerland for day trips, especially on weekends—unless I’m off on a longer journey.
Besides Bergamo and Milan, I also frequently go to other beautiful cities and places such as Torino, Venezia, Padova, Verona, Brescia, Como, Lecco, Bologna, and Genova, or to the lakes and mountains nearby. If I have time and you’re up for it, I’m always happy to explore together—whether it’s a hike, a city walk, or just discovering something new.
I enjoy walking through both historical and modern neighborhoods, or simply spending time in nature while talking about topics like sustainability and biodiversity.
I also organize Couchsurfing group meetings from time to time in Bergamo, Milan, or wherever I’m traveling. I’ve done this in places like Budapest, Moscow, and Rome, and every time it's been a great experience.
I believe there’s always something to learn from others, and I love the idea of seeing familiar places through someone else’s eyes—it turns every outing into a new adventure!
Just to be clear:
I’m not a tour guide, and I don’t organize free walking tours. However, when we explore together, I’ll be happy to share what I know about the places we visit, from local curiosities to historical insights, always in a spontaneous and friendly way.
Couchsurfing is not a dating site, nor a place for freeloaders. I take time to read profiles carefully and choose who to meet with intention—same when I organize group events—so that everyone can feel comfortable and respected.
When I joined this community, I did it to help others unconditionally (when I feel they genuinely deserve it), while making meaningful connections and learning along the way.
Luckily, there are many kind, generous, and authentic people out there—and I’ve had the chance to meet some of them thanks to Couchsurfing. Sharing a moment, a laugh, or a walk with someone who appreciates the same spirit is always worth it.
So if you’re here for the same reasons—regardless of age, background, religion, or gender—you’re very welcome to write me. :)

Interessen
I’m deeply connected to nature. I love hiking—whether it’s in the woods, in the mountains, or anywhere close to lakes or the sea. At home, I take care of over 250 fruit trees, vines, and bushes from different continents. I'm passionate about biodiversity and sustainability, and I experiment with permaculture, traditional and modern agriculture, and environmental engineering to grow healthy, natural food—for myself, my family, and the local wildlife.
This is part of a healthy lifestyle I care about: I try to stay active with regular physical activity, including hiking and Krav Maga, an Israeli self-defense system that I find both empowering and energizing.
I live with four cats and six chickens—so yes, I love animals too!
Music has always been with me: I’ve been playing the transverse flute since I was nine, and I enjoy playing a bit of piano sometimes. I have a strong curiosity for history, especially ancient civilizations and how people used to live in everyday life.
I'm also really interested in personal finance—how to manage resources wisely, invest consciously, and live more sustainably.
Technology is another field that fascinates me. I’m especially focused on AI lately—its impact on society, work, and creativity—and I like exploring innovations and how they can shape the future. I graduated in accountancy, studied engineering—so I enjoy both the scientific and organizational side of things.
In my free time, I love reading, photography, and drawing—especially landscapes and portraits. Whenever I come across a beautiful or emotional view, I feel the urge to capture it with a photo.
I also collect stamps and currency from around the world—each piece is like a small journey.
And of course… I love traveling! Whether it’s well planned or totally spontaneous, discovering new places and meeting new people is one of the things that makes me feel most alive.
I’m always curious and open to learning something new—so don’t hesitate to share your passions with me, maybe I’ll make them mine too!

Musik, Filme und Bücher
I enjoy all kinds of books—especially the ones that teach me something new!
When it comes to music, I’m all over the place! I love yacht rock, jazz, blues, classical music, Latin rhythms, and hits from the ‘60s and ‘70s. If it has soul or a good groove, I’m probably into it.
I like watching movies too. I don’t have a single favorite genre—there are great films in almost every category, and I enjoy discovering them.
I also love TV documentaries, and I often find myself deep-diving into YouTube videos on topics that interest me—whether it’s science, history, nature, or something completely random!
Lehren, lernen, teilen
I’m always happy to teach you some basic Italian and I’ve already tried to do it, during my Couchsurfing experience! Even if, probably, the best thing it would be to help you practising the language, when you already have a basic knowledge of it!
I can share stories, interests and we could learn and have adventures together!
My motto is: mens sana in corpore sano.
