Overview
About Me
I'm on a crossroad on a lot of levels.
Half Italian, half Brazilian, half done with my education, half knowing what am I to do in this world : )
I'm originally from Manaus, Amazonas, even though I've passed only part of my life there, It's still one of the places I identify strongly with: the land of the biggest forest and river of the world, where anything can happen.
I've also lived in Chile, and now Italy for the majority of my life.
I'm currenty an undergrad studying Physics in Rome, and what it's teaching me is the art of being curious. I like a lot of things, Photography (analog and digital), writing, theatre, dabbling in music, finding ways to express myself.
I'm a dreamer at heart, for me anything and everyone is connected in some very basic and essential ways, and the joy of life is getting to a point where you can feel and understand these connections, maybe making some yourself with others, pointing out the intricacies of human beings : )
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's a way for me to get out there and meet people, and also in practicing the art of trusting, even someone that you don't know per se, but relying of the feeling of fellowship between humans, we're all nomads after all , we've just become lazy with moving : )
One thing that has always been hard for me is asking for anything for myself, and Couchsurfing is in some way a method of learning to ask someone, without fear.
Interests
Being a curious man, I dabble in anything that interests me in that moment: I've done some theatre with both a local company and with some more informal groups. I have also a passion for analog photography, it's a hobby that I've developed (no pun intended... well, maybe.) over the years, and makes shooting and creating photos just an entirely different experience, it makes them become something more close to me, more personal.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a fan of electronic music, even though is quite a weird taste. Stuff from John Cage, Penguin Cafè Orchestra or Imogen Heap is really up my alley, especially when studying.
My "punkier" side likes more traditional genres: a lot of ska like Streetlight Manifesto,long-winding music like Mars Volta or Tangerine Dream, Goodspeed You, Black Emperor and much more : )
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once while was in Chile my family decided to take me to the Atacama desert, which is literally the driest and most desolate place on Earth besides the Antarctic. We weren't there for much, and sadly we could not stay for the night, but what I saw was incredible: absolute nothing in any direction that I could lay my eyes on, a great plain interrupted only by the occasional saltpetre mining ghost town, relics of an old past. I was only 6 at the time, but the experience stays with me to this day.
