My name is Matteo, I’m a 24 years old student at the first year of master in Physics of Matter. I live in the north of Italy, but my family is spread out in all the peninsula. In Padua I live in a flat with a lot of erasmus and people from whole over the world: it is an amazing experience that let me meet very nice people and visit a bit of the world through their stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to very different kind of music, from prog rock (Pink Floyd is my favourite band, King Crimson, Tool, I was at one of their concert) to electronic (Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, Four Tet), passing through Massive Attack and Nine Inch Nails and Italian old (Franco Battiato and Italian old punk) and contemporary musician (Subsonica, Motta)

When I was a teenager I was passionate of Sci-Fi (especially Asimov, Philip K Dick, William Gibson). With time I began to appreciate also different kind of genres and now books keep me a very good company, I like Jorge Luis Borges (El Aleph, Ficciones), Marguerite Yourcenar (Memoirs of Hadrian), Italo Calvino (The Invisible cities), Roland Barthes.

Some movies: Blade Runner, Apocalypse Now, Easy rider, Pi (Darren Aronofsky), Touch of Evil, Indagine su un cittadino al di sopra di ogni sospetto (Elio Petri), Le mani sulla città (Francesco Rosi).
