Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i slept on many friends couches but none of the members of CS...

Interests

i love countryside, i have my bees there ...nothing better than leave the office and relax "playing" with thousands of them buzzing around you.
i love music, almost all kind of it, expecially jazz, blues, and ethnic. i like to play guitar, ukulele, accordion, sax and "friscaletto", a popular sicilian instrument. but just trying, i don't really have a lot of time to study.
the best place where i love to have free time is alicudi, a little lonely island in the north sea of sicily, a remote volcano in the sea. no roads, no cars, just mountain trails and small houses scattered on the slope. the sound of wind and sea reign on the island where livese just fishermen. that's my "buen retiro", I can not live without this place for too long...
i'm curious, that's why i like traveling around the world, knowing new places, new cultures, new peoples... has a "tipical" italian i like to cook for my friends! my job is acoustic engineering, but i prefare to say that i am a beekeper.. i love swimming, scubadiving, walking in mountains, and stuff like that.. i love taking pictures, especially people portraits around the world.
i live close to the centre (piazza vittorio), with my dog "pacha", my home is not so big (it's the price to live in centre of town), but i have in the kitchen a couch with a single place, good neighbors, a bike for you, italian food, wine, beer, or whatever you need (at least i try...).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-the Amazon rain forest "noise" during the night
-the Great Erg desert "silence" during the day
-a lot of people i've met around the world
-the first time i have pick up a swarm of bees
