About Me

my flatmate says i like to go deep into conversations and knowledge of people.
my classmate says i adapt easily to very different situations.
a friend of mine says her dog is like a person in a dog-shaped-body and me a dog in a human-shaped-body. i admit i give her good reason to think so by the way i like to interact with her dog, let´s say the less human one i can.
i like to say about me that i´m a normal person, i think people are all different and this makes them all normal in a way, theirs unique one.

when i moved to germany in 2012 an old friend told me i would have not resisted a month. after a week i wanted to move back but thinking of him i resisted. today i study at the academy of fine arts of leipzig and i speak german -oscar wild´s quote "life is too short to learn german" makes me smile satisfied sometimes-.

there´s an image i often refer to when it comes to society

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

i joined couchsurfing fascinated by the idea of a society ruled by generosity rather than the logic of profit and by gratitude rather than monetary values. interested in the topic of possible alternatives to a capitalistic model i found some theoretical position that make me believe that this community constitutes a precious example a possible one, which i feel proud to be a little partecipant of.

joke brouwer and sjoerd van tuinen "giving and taking, antidotes to a culture of greed"
marcel mauss "the gift"

Interests

post-humanism, post-anthropocentrism, post-genderism, ethology, contemporary art, clubbing

Teach, Learn, Share

i learned that being honest towards oneself is more difficult than towards the other. that perfection doesn´t exist and absolute coherence often risk to turn into dogmatic believes.

i´m learning to trust to my belly (and not only when it gets to breakfast) rather then the eyes. and talking abut food i could teach you how to make a good "soffritto": secret of my grandma´s cooking.
