About Me

I grew up in Vittorio Veneto, a charming town in Italy on the border between the Padan plain and the Dolomites (world heritage) not far from Venice. My entire family comes from the same small provincial area.
I moved to Padova where I lived for 10 years. Then I couldn't keep it any longer and I started moving around, Kazakhstan, Sierra Leone, Etiopia, UK...

I'm looking for a place to call home. I already found many, and many more I'll find.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing, when taken pure, is the cure to most of our present diseases.

I loved to host when I had the chance to do it. Hope to be able to start soon again.
I surfed couches a couple of times and the experience was absolutely great.

Interests

Photography. I own and neglect a digital reflex camera.
Cinema. I prefer small essay cinemas in town rather than the big multiplex. I like to leave home already knowing which movie I'm going to see.
Juggling. It relaxes me, my tools are bean bags and clubs.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm reading "Getting to zero"
Music I've been listening to lately: Robyn.
Music I love: Mother Falcon, Joanna Newsom, Soley, Soap and Skin, Fleetwood Mac, Florence + the Machine, Skunk anansie, Teatro degli orrori, the Gossip, Marta sui tubi, De Andrè.
Movies I love: Dogville, the Matrix. And all titles proposed by Mike's cineforum.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Crocodiles jumping from a trunk into the water of the Omo river, only few dozen meters away from where kids were playing or swimming to cross the river. Thrilling

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm good at preparing lasagne. I can teach you my special method, but I can't assure you'll reach the perfection of the master.
