Hello! I'm Matt, I'm a travel blogger and I live in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, just to the north of London, in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

I run Here To Travel (heretotravel.com) with Jade, my wife.

My goal in life is to try new things, visit new places and eat wild and exotic things. I'm happiest when I'm in-motion or somewhere new. I like to document my experiences by writing about them and taking photos so that I can share them with others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love finding new things to do and see. My adventures include an impromptu helicopter ride in New Zealand, a day trip to Sweden, nearly dying on top of a sand dune (funny story!), descending a 7m waterfall in a boat, eating the best hot dog in the entire world in Copenhagen, riding the ding-dings in Hong Kong and wading through knee-deep snow 2,000m up in the Swiss Alps.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd be interested in learning the basics of the local language and would definitely be interested in seeing the best kept secrets of the local area, particularly restaurants and quirky stuff.
