CURRENT MISSION
Have fun, make people laugh. Save enough for a big family home, travel and see the world
ABOUT ME
If you are looking for honesty that will either make you want to stay at mine, or feel comfortable to host me. So I'll state the best and the worst bits about me.
Best: I'll try to make you laugh, and tell you jokes on any given subject (I have a great memory for jokes)
I am easy to talk to, and people find that they end up feeling comfortable to say anything and everything as I'm easy going.
I enjoy going out for good food and we will probably do that a lot together (not fast food)
I enjoy life, its all good, so I'd say I'm an optimist. Oh don't get me wrong, I love to rant, idiotic people make me great ranting, but I still know everything turns out great in the end...
What are my negative points?
I am a bit messy (but we have a cleaner)
I can be a bit too sarcastic and dry at times.
I can be pretty lazy. (In my house)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have people stay round,
I have met up with other CF-ers here for food and clubbing
I have been to one "meet-up" (AKA meet-in a pub)
I have been to CS meet ups overseas
I have been traveling with two of my surfers in multiple destinations and many of my guests have become life ling friends :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I met Trav (www. Trekking With Trav. com) at SkyDive Dubai.
He was on couch surfing and needed a place to stay. He ended up staying at ours for over a week and in that time we became very good friends, we went clubbing, skiing, skydiving.
The best bits were having another friend in the house to liven things up, someone who, because, they were traveling, we're looking to do the most extreme things every day. Me and my housemate Seb obviously love people like that in our lives.
In the short time he was here, Trav gained numerous sponsors to sponsor his travels, free gear like cameras, experiences like motor cross and driving formula 1 cars. and he won contracts with big name magazines and tv show to cover his experience!
Trav showed me that its completely possible to travel and get most things for free if you put in the work.... so thats what Ill be doing after Dubai
Two days after Trav left, I got a request from Dimitri, he was visiting from London for 20 hours, he needed a place to relax and someone to show him the best parts of the city before getting his connecting flight. For me, I had a friend visit, so I had company the whole day! for him, there was a complete shift, he lands in a new country and simply enjoys and experiences my weekend (a guy who has lived in Dubai for 3 years, so three years of experience, knowledge and connections) so we have a great time at the beach, share breakfast American friends, dinner out with more friends so now hes meeting Dubai locals and brits, then a massive couch surfing meeting where he meets more people gets tipsy and the rest is a blur. I think my point in there somewhere was its a fantastic win win
and if you pick up the pen and send me a message... it could be you next.
