Hey, I’m Matthew. I was born and live in London, England. I’ll admit I’m kind of shy at first but doesn’t take me long to come out of my shell and be myself. I’m a very friendly, outgoing person and I’m also very laid back so I am just as happy going out drinking and partying as I am going to a museum or an art gallery or just for a coffee. I love to travel to new places, meet new people and am very open minded to try new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

From February 2018, I’ll be quitting my job to travel full time. I don’t just want to travel though, I want to experience each country I visit and can’t think of a better way to do this then to be with local. I’d love to try local foods and drinks, explore the great hidden gems that many tourists may not know about and experience everyday life for locals with locals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have travelled Asia before, but to actually quit my job and travel long term is probably the most amazing decision I’ve made in my life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Being from England, I speak fluent English. I’m happy to have a host who doesn’t speak great English but wants to learn a bit more or maybe a host who does speak English but just wants to practice with an English person.
