Overview
About Me
I am a New Zealander travelling in the USA. I am travelling the USA because I have been working at a summer camp for the summer in Minnesota.
I have just finished studying a master's majoring in plant biology in New Zealand and this is my travelling time before I find a job.
I love spending time outdoors, exploring places few people have gone before. I also really enjoy meeting new people from around the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couch surfing because I want to travel the USA to see more of what I experienced while working at summer camp. I also really enjoy meeting new people who have different cultures and perspectives about the world. I find it really interesting and eye opening how ignorant I can be about the world sometimes. I also think getting to know the locals is the best way to get to know the area and the best things to do.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music is pop rock and alternative music but I enjoy listening to almost all music. Always open to new suggestions for good music.
My favorite movies are the ones that have twists that make you question your assumptions about the movie or the world. A good comedy and action movie always goes down well.
I enjoy fantasy and sci-fi books in general
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have worked at a summer camp! It has to be one of the most amazing experiences I have ever done! It was the must fun I have had in a summer but also the hardest summer I have ever had.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share anything you would like to know about New Zealand or biology. I am always open to learning something new.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my stories while traveling and at camp as well as culture from New Zealand. I can also offer a beer at the local pub
