Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had my first and second couch surfing experience recently in Fiji and loved it. It's like visiting a friend in a foreign city, you get welcomed into the home, given the local knowledge and a chance to meet new interesting people that really enhances the whole experience. What's not to love!

Books: Historical novels ~ Wilbur Smith books, Fantasy Novels ~ Game of thrones, Adventure/ expedition non fiction ~ Touching the void.

Music: Classic Rock/ Pop ~ Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd etc. Old skool hiphop ~ Slick rick, Tribe called quest, Jurassic 5 etc.
Also Reggae, Dance, some Pop, Drum and Bass, Electronic and some other bits and pieces.

Movies: Comedy, Thriller, Action. All sorts really as long as it has a decent plot and is not just violence then I'm happy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently I spotted a pod of Dolphins just off cooks beach, NZ. I swam out to meet them with my partner and had an amazing experience! They were very inquisitive and swam right up to us to have a look.
