About Me
Hi! My name is Matt, I was born, raised, and will probably forever live in Cleveland, Ohio.
Most of my spare time is spent with friends, and family. Hanging out, goofing off, playing any game that will entertain us.
I try not to take myself too seriously.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When The couchsurfing community was brought to my attention by some friends I met in college, their stories, and how awesome it's been to hang out with them has convinced me to at least make a profile and see what it is all about. Since then I've been able to use it to meet up with a couple of people on some weekend road trips, and it has been a blast.
I love the idea of meeting up with local people because they can tell you what it is that makes a certain city special, and in turn that place can hold some truly special memories for you. That is what I hope to gain while traveling, and hopefully I can help others gain when they come around to my neck of the woods.
Interests
I like all different types of board games, card games, and video games. I love (attempting) to cook random recipes I find online.
I enjoy live music, reading, comedy shows, ping pong, general shenanigans. I picked up guitar during the pandemic. Still very much a beginner though haha

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to lots of music, and some of my best memories are at rock concerts in Cleveland.
I think the "Songs About Jane" album by Maroon 5 is a musical masterpiece and I'm not afraid to admit it.
Rise against is probably my favorite band and one of the best live shows I've ever seen, probably second only to The Black Keys.
Neil Gaiman has got to be my favorite author, his fantasy novels, and graphic novels always entertain.
I am a hoopy who knows where his towel is at!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd like to continue learning guitar.
