I have been active politically for causes such as indigenous rights and banning coal seam gas operations. I enjoy performing, playing live music with guitar & telling stories. I have also taught guitar and ran a vinyl record, CD, toy and collectable store for ten years.
I am separated. My most recent overseas experience was travelling to Germany in August 2013 to be part of the Taubertal festival where a student of mine was playing with his band Cuervo.
I like to read a lot but I also learn a lot from conversations with free-spirited people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to meet people from many walks of life in different parts of the world and share my experiences, I would also like to find places to play live music and learn as much about the areas i am staying in as i can so it is helpful to meet up with locals and these people are offering an added service which I may be able to reciprocate when I am at home if timing is appropriate.

Flown over Sydney Harbour in a helicopter. I wasn't the pilot but it was an amazing sight and experience.
