I've been called an Adventurer, I would say life has had plenty of incredible moments. I love to live life to the fullest, and am quick to become a friend with just about anyone.

I've also been called a storyteller, because with all of those adventures, there are bound to be interesting stories to share. I love listening to other peoples experiences too.

My work is fun, each day is a bit different. As an entrepreneur, I do several different things, from running my business Plan B Consulting, where I work with an Atlas F missile base, to custom wookworking where I get to create beautiful projects for people.

I manage an estate in Kansas, which is an old stone house, originally built in 1868. It is full of gardens, with food and flowers all over. The orchards have apples, pears, and cherries.

I love a good wine, my wife is currently learning to grow grapes and make wine. Last years batch was really good. Right now we are managing close to fifty vines which were just recently planted next to a stone barn from the 1800's.

I have traveled to over 20 countries around the globe. Life has taken me to Asia once, and Europe several times. I lived in the Netherlands for one year while working in a Youth Hostel. Some highlights have been snowboarding the Swiss and French Alps, taking the stairs up the Eiffel Tower, swimming a fjord in Norway, and climbing up a small river stream in the Himalayan mountains of Nepal.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The people are what make the destination exciting. I enjoy making new friends, and learning from the locals, the best food to eat, what to see, and where to go.
