I am a 27 year old living in Sheffield with my girlfriend Emma and our four cats. I am an avid traveler and take opportunities to visit new places whenever possible to experience all that life has to offer. I consider myself to be an outgoing person and always up for a laugh. Since recently completing my PhD, I am now currently on a trip around the USA where I'm aiming to visit all 50 states.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people and make great friends, to learn about the world and experience what life is like in other cultures and countries. I first started travelling with my brother in 2013 and it has been my number one hobby ever since. I'm here to discover new things and explore the world.

Interests

I love all aspects of travel, meeting new people, and hearing stories about their adventures. I like keeping fit, but also have a passion for really tasty food. I enjoy taking photographs of my adventures and am always the person in the group who manages to take the most! But I would love to learn more about how to take better photographs. I have a huge interest in TV shows and films, and love to visit film locations and film sets. Finally, I have a big love for cute cats.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's hard to choose just one experience. Last year I worked in Nanjing, China for three weeks and had some incredible experiences, including visiting the Great Wall Of China. I've spend a day drinking tea with a monk and visited an elephant rescue center in Thailand to see the brilliant work that they do to help injured and abused elephants. Swimming in the infinity pool on top of the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore was a fantastic experience. I've learnt to handrear kittens for rescue, two of which have become part of the family.

I can teach you about life in England, traditions and cuisine. I am passionate about travelling and money saving, and usually have lots of money saving tips and ideas up my sleeves. I can teach you about interesting problems in mathematics.
