I've never done couch surfing before, but met some people recently who have had great experiences. I love to travel and meet new people and currently am trying to live part-time in Germany and part-time in Los Angeles.
I'm a low-impact guest, sometimes to a fault. However, my life is a bit unpredictable due to my work, so I try not to plan very much because I usually have to leave on a days notice.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because so many people I've met in the last 2 months have had great experiences with CS. I also hate to visit countries like a tourist and see all of the big attractions in the main areas (I'll save those things for when I have kids), for now I want to travel like a local, eat good food, meet good people, and see things tourists don't see.
