About Me

I graduated in Social Psychology last summer and I'm currently working in customer relations at IKEA whilst running the live LAGOM project which is an effort to increase understanding about sustainability. I'm also a volunteer for a charity called Mind once a week on an allotment.

I am saving up for a trip around Asia next year and plan on teaching English in Indonesia. Depending how much I enjoy it, I plan on spending a vast chunk of my life travelling, teaching and hopefully many other projects along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to delve into the culture of the places I visit and meet real people and hear about their experiences and share stories with them about travels, philosophies and music!

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't believe in genres, there's good music and there's bad music, personally I love good music. My favourite artists are people like Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tame Impala, Cypress Hill and Jimi Hendrix.

I love to read, mostly philosophical and psychological books, things I've read and love include Island by Huxley, The Teachings of Don Juan by Castaneda, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter Thomson and I'm currently reading The Tao of Physics by Capra.

I'm a big fan of films too especially anything by Stanley Kubrick, Quentin Tarantino, David Lynch and Coen Brothers. I especially love comedies with actors like Will Ferrell, Jim Carey and Seth Rogen!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumped out of a plane :|

Teach, Learn, Share

I've got a fairly good understanding of social psychology, environmentalism/sustainability and philosophy and love to share ideas about them with other people. I have a good background of knowledge on some areas of music but can't really play anything, I've been learning to play guitar for a little while and want to get better.

I want to learn more about other peoples life experiences, philosophies, cooking techniques and maybe some free guitar lessons :P

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good manners, friendliness and gratitude.
