About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live an authentic and fulfilled life by acquiring the skills that will help me accomplish these goals.
I do a lot of activism at school and I'm currently in Germany to learn about permaculture to share with my community back home. I want to promote sustainable alternatives to supplement divestment campaigns and help build a stronger more cohesive community.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe in reciprocity and I find that actually staying with someone who has no monetary incentive to host me is far more enriching and authentic than staying in a hotel. I believe in the potential of people, and couchsurfing provides me with experience on how to be with people
Interests
I love soccer- if I get a chance to play while I'm travelling, I will without hesitation. When I'm not in school, I like discussing philosophy, sociology, and gender/sexuality. I'm a pretty good cook too; I've been cooking since I was a little kid. I'm learning about construction by volunteering with Habitat for Humanity; I want to build a tiny house. I'm also interested in food sustainability and permaculture. I do a lot of activism at school with Students for Justice in Palestine, Animal Rights Activism, 350.org divestment, and general journalism.
