Overview
About Me
My name is Matthew Leikness, and I am a student enrolled in the University of Wisconsin Platteville for Industrial Engineering. I dream of traveling abroad and seeing the world from the eyes of a local rather than a tourist. The part I enjoy most about traveling is immersion in local culture that is overlooked by tourism.
I hope that one day I’ll be able to take my bike around Europe and simply meet great people while seeing a little bit more of this great, diverse world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to travel abroad in Europe and learn everything about how people live. I don’t care much for tourist sightseeing, and I would rather be immersed in the local culture by going down to a local pub to watch a game for example.
