About Me

I help build education software. I'm also potentially applying to Med School in a couple years. Currently on leave of absence from a Master's program at Stanford. I also love to run– currently training to break 50 seconds in the 400m, but I've also done a couple marathons (Boston included).
I play double bass, bass guitar, and piano– though none of them super well :P
Also currently studying for the MCAT, which I'm taking in May.

I have never hosted or couchsurfed before. :O

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting people when I travel! Hotels can feel super isolated. A place is what it is because of the people who live there.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Ready Player One is a wonderful book. Picked it up one morning and could not put it down until I was done.

Music: My favorite band is The Glitch Mob, hands down. But I have pretty eclectic tastes depending on the day. Chopin, Beethoven, Barber, Drake, the Chainsmokers, Third Eye Blind, Coldplay...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I almost died in Yosemite one time. My friend and I tried to do a 14-mile hike up to some glacier lake and after we went above the snow line, we got lost off the trail and ended up spending a night in almost freezing temperatures with tons of wind chill. I almost died fording a glacial river. Ask me about it :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach good running form and weightlifting basics (squat deadlift bench pullups, exercises/lifts for particular muscle groups).
I can also give some basic instruction in playing double bass or bass guitar.
Also down to talk about computer science-related stuff/programming.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can jam with them, teach them a few things about coding or bass or playing piano. I love hearing stories and have a few to tell myself :)
