Hello! I'm Matt--I've been in NYC just over four years now and have loved every second of it. I was born in Bangkok, Thailand and bounced around the globe quite a bit during childhood, but, for the most part, I grew up in the USA. I now work in advertising.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Just found out about this recently and thought it was a great idea. I love meeting new people and exchanging culture and language! I'm a product of this myself with a mother from Thailand and father of Italian descent.

Interests

Soccer (football for most of you haha), outdoors activities, salsa dancing, finding new places to eat and drink with friends, reading, and just exploring NYC in general

I enjoy listening to top 40, hip-hop, rock, EDM, 80s, soul, and salsa music

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Worked on a vineyard in Argentina--it was an incredible experience

I can help teach/practice English, how to make some basic Thai dishes, and also how to salsa dance
