Overview
About Me
Hi, I'm a 27yr old guy who has yet to step foot off the island of Australia. The reasons why I haven't yet are personal and even wounding; however, I've now saved up the cash, I've got my passports and my lifestyle is going to permit (along with my girlfriend) the chance for 3 months + of solo travel around the UK.
I've done a little travel around Australia itself but even this big country still has a lot to offer me -I'd still like to see things from a different perspective and culture first.
I've always mingled with people from around the world via many different platforms including online games and have holidayed around Australia with many of them.
I love to learn. I love to consume and breathe knowledge from many sources, and travel is just something I MUST DO!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
At the recommendation of more than one website, they've attested their amazing travel experiences purely to being apart of Couchsurfing.
It is my hope that I meet people, form a bond, play host and then get hosted in turn during my trip next June->September.
Interests
Being a musician myself (drums and vocals for anyone interested in forming a fun band overseas) I appreciate and love all styles of music. All. It is my hope to experience many different sounds when I travel.
I love being outdoors and fitness, remaining healthy and seeing things on foot. I look up, not down, and I cannot wait to really See.
I am into games of all sorts from old board games and card games to the new modern video games.
I am an avid reader reader and knowledge seeker. I believe in equality and I think good food is paramount to happiness.
I love fishing and being responsible for being able to actually eat. It's thrilling.

Music, Movies, and Books
Any music -and I mean that. Metal, Rap, Pop, Indie, Classical, Techno... all of it.
--I'd love to stay with music lovers--
Movies: Any that has great acting in truth. I believe high quality acting can carry a bad story. I'm also partial to the hidden B-grade gems. Though bearded, I'm not out of touch with my feminine side and I love a blanket+Maltesers+chickflick combo too.
Books: I love science text books oddly enough, and also fantasy novels in particular (high fantasy, so... elves and stuff). While travelling I intend to keep working on my novels.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think the best thing I can continue to say I've done... is taught kids how to ride a bike when there was a language gap. When I was little there was a family who didn't have any luxuries and I remember they didn't speak too great English. I taught a boy 3 years older than myself how to ride a bike. Though that was 22 years ago, it still tops everything else.
I've done some extra work and it was pretty fun. Played for bands. Been on TV. Trained many people in many things and helped people lose weight. But teaching that kid to ride remains the best.
Teach, Learn, Share
Magic tricks. Health tips. How to smile when everyone else doesn't want you to. The trick to keep moving forward.
How to enjoy travel and do it on a shoe string. The way others live. A language not my native one. A perfect dish from every country I visit.
My time. My place. Me. My life. Happiness. Moments. Cheese. Chocolate. Stars and darkness. Laughter and sports.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Banter. Cooking. Local knowledge. Music. Freedom. A room. Late nights, early mornings, chill afternoons.
