G'day, I'm a young Australian traveller who has just finished their uni degree, and I am embarking on a late gap year trip across Europe! It has been some years since I've travelled internationally, so I'm a little rusty - but I believe that the best way to travel is in the homes and charity of the locals, as opposed to staying in hotel rooms and private accomodation.

I'm friendly, outgoing and enjoy engaging with and helping others. I am more interested in seeing your home through your eyes, so if you're needing assistance of any sorts, please let me know as I am much more interested in working alongside you instead of using your home strictly as an AirBnB.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Its easy these days to travel across the globe and organise accomodation as well - however, thanks to my exchange experience in highschool I truly now understand that the people make the place, as the saying goes. I strongly believe there is no better way to connect with a place and its peoples than living in their local routines and coming to celebrate their customs. I consider it an honour to be invited into someones home, and always try to express my gratitude before my departure.

I'm quite open-minded when it comes to my interests and hobbies - while there is lots of things I have tried, there are also so many more. Particularly with this trip I am eager to not only take on new experiences, but those experiences which might be both terrifying and exciting. I really am aiming to push myself as far as possible!

I enjoy listening to most types of music, from rap/hip-hop to jazz/blues.
I don't watch a lot of movies, but like my music taste, my interest in movies is always evolving.
For books, I enjoy any read where I am bound to learn something; and with fiction, anything by Matthew Reilly or Robert Muchamore I own and have read on multiple occasions.

Where there is love for learning, an interest in teaching always follows. I really enjoy talking about my interests, and sharing my knowledge with others. I hope that I can also share my Australian cultural experiences with all travellers and hosts I meet too - especially aussie slang.
