Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There's something about having the insiders view of a place, the perspective of a local, that transforms a journey. Werner Herzog says that tourism is a sin, that it's best to travel by foot and really experience a place. I'm not getting where I'm going by foot, but maybe you can tell me where to walk to once I get there.

I've traveled some, mostly just around the northeast US, and I want to change that.

Interests

Favorite movie might be The Third Man. David Lynch is cool, so is David Byrne.

I like short stories a lot. Struggle to get into novels, but I like to gulp down stories and news.
