I've been teaching English in the Republic of Georgia as a volunteer for the past year and have immensely enjoyed my travels in Eastern Europe. I was born and grew up in the United States. Although I studied government, I've found much more joy in teaching and traveling abroad. I'm always up for spontaneous and interesting adventures and tend to enjoy seeing places that are more off the beaten path.

Why not be on Couchsurfing?? I think it's great that people are open to letting total strangers stay with them. Even if I had the money to stay at fancy hotels and whatnot, you simply don't get to meet the great, local people that Couchsurfing can offer.

I'm terribly mediocre at many things, but I'd be happy to jam along or sing if ya got a guitar, mandolin, or panduri.

Although I studied politics I actively do my best to avoid talking about such things. I'm always interested in finding out more about random folk because it's insane to think about how differently we all live our lives.

If you want to learn a bit of Georgian I can teach you as much as I know! (which is to say not much)
