I like to travel and I particularly like to save money whilst doing so!
I think couch surfing is the perfect place to gain local knowledge in places that I have never visited before and hopefully build a good network of friends in a more homely environment than what a hostel/hotel has to offer.

Trekked the Everest Base Camp trail without a guide - Highest point I reached was 5555m above sea level! My friends from home could not come so I made friends along the trek instead.
