I am a new Father to a healthy baby girl. My wife is just as dorky as me but we compliment each other's nerd-ish talents. I'm a board game designer. I love seeing the world around me & meeting new people. I've taken a 102 day road trip across America late 2011 for the Free Hugs Campaign. I love to tell stories about my journeys & enjoy hearing other's adventures as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was blessed with the opportunity to travel many times within the US. Each new place offered new cultures & amazing people to interact with as I spread the joy of Free Hugs, which is an ice breaker to meet new people. I would like to share my stories again with those who enjoy travel experiences. I'm currently attempting to move my family to Minnesota and am going up ahead of them to secure work & a place to live. I would enjoy spending time with fellow travelers & make a few new friends at the same time.

I enjoy anime more than movies. A few examples are Cowboy Bebop, Full Metal Alchemist, & Yu Yu Hakusho. There are more but that's what starts conversations right?

Books, poor books. While yeah I've read a few here and there, nothing catches my attention more than their movie adaptations. Like Ender's Game & Harry Potter.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Created 2011's Free Hugs Campaign. "Free hugs" is basically an ice breaker to meet new people. You never know what someone is going through in a day & sometimes a hug is the perfect opportunity to connect with people. It was a 102 day road trip across 15 states along the eastern & southern coast of America. I love sharing experiences from this adventure so please ask me about it. ^_^

I am always open to learning from other's experiences. I enjoy sharing stories from my life & crazy road trip. & I feel like I could teach people the basics of game design or at least mentor someone for a few hours.
