Hello! I'm a guy from a small coastal town in New Jersey. When you think of someone from New Jersey, you probably wouldn't think of me. I don't have an accent (most of us do not!), I'm not obnoxious, and I'm not artificially tan. I like to think of myself as a rather laid back, simple guy. I'm a jack of all trades, as you can see below in my interests, which are quite diverse. I'm handy with a hammer and a screwdriver, basically anything you put in my hand. I enjoy working with my hands and being active. I love exploring the outdoors and finding anything abandoned and rusted. However, one of my greatest loves is food! I love cooking! My plans almost always revolve around where and when I'm going to eat. I am currently studying Human Factors and Ergonomics at George Mason University.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find other cultures fascinating! Many times we forget how differently others live. I enjoy gaining knew perspectives and integrating these perspectives into my life. Let's face it, no one group of people has it all right. We can learn so much from each other and become better people.
I also believe that meeting locals is one of the best ways learn about their country and culture. I have stayed with some amazing hosts that went so far above and beyond what was expected and made my trip truly unique.

Interests

Photography!!! I have always loved photography since I was young, but it was a few years ago that I really got serious and started doing some serious learning. I enjoy finding new and interesting perspectives that have not been tried before. My desire is to create something that grips peoples' attention and forces them to stop and stare.

I often tell people that I have too many hobbies! When I'm not taking pictures, I also enjoy snowboarding, hunting, welding, weight lifting, bike riding, and simply enjoying the outdoors.
