Hey y'all!

I'm a corn-fed, pork loving Midwesterner from the great state of Iowa! If you don't know much about the state of Iowa, it's probably because it is considered a "flyover state" in the USA. With that being said, my great state truly doesn't have much going on in it, lol; but that doesn't mean that it still isn't worth the visit!

While attending the University of Dubuque, I majored in Physical and Health Education. I also studied and acquired my degree in Special Education. During the five years that I spent attending university, I studied abroad three times (once on land and twice at sea)! I lived on a cruise ship for two semesters while taking classes on the importance of intercultural development and multi-cultural awareness, as well as globalization.

I'm definitely well-traveled and have lived in some amazing places, and done some pretty incredible things! My hope is to continue this beautiful life journey of curiosity and travel. Let's talk about life's many mysteries and how amazing burritos are!

I LOVE TO TRAVEL and to meet new people. I've typically traveled with organized programs or stayed in hostels/hotels. I like the idea of trying new experiences and Couch Surfing seems like a great way to accomplish all of this!
