About Me
Hi, I'm Matt. I'm a student in Southampton, where I have lived for the past couple of years. I have a flat, fairly central in town. It's easy to get to most places on foot and it's on a bus route which goes from the airport to the docks.
I'm pretty easy-going. I can put someone up for a night who's maybe breaking up a longer journey or get involved if you plan on spending a few days in the area.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My first experience of couchsurfing began when I backpacked in the US. Before trying, I was initially skeptical of the whole concept but after the hospitality of my first host in Washington DC, I was totally sold on it. For the next few months while backpacking in the US and parts of Central America I met some truly incredible and generous people. It's a brilliant way to meet new people and discover an area. Now I have the capacity to host, it will be great to give back and help out folk in the way I was.
Interests
I like to engage with current affairs and what's in the news. I also like messing around with computers, going rock climbing when I have the opportunity and exploring new places with friends.
