Overview
About Me
I'm just a guy who likes to learn and experience new things. I feel I'm a creative person who enjoys a lot of different things; I've tried my hand at making movies, music, comedy, writing (currently working on a novel and my blog). Of course, I really enjoy just relaxing and having a good time with friends... and wine.
I'm rather easy going and on the quiet side mostly. If you want me to speak loads, get a couple of wine glasses in me and I'll be happy to oblige.
I'm a big believer in freedom, in letting people be who they are, even if I don't agree with their choices. I try to keep an open mind and accept that may I don't know everything. Zazen (Zen meditation) helps me do this.
Unfortunately, although I've hosted a few people, getting into a routine of checking my account regularly is something I've failed to do because of the zillion commitments I signed myself up to - something I plan to fix when I go back to my homeland (I'm currently L=living in the UK on a student exchange programme).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To get to know people and learn from different cultures and teach them about my own and to help me explore the world a little easier and better.
Interests
I am interested in many things, and the list only grows with time. I love all sorts of movies (except horror because I'm a big baby) and music (except black metal, just because). I love reading far and wide - from Economics to classic literature to quantum physics.
I enjoy hiking and exploring but not standing in queues. (Since I'm Couchsurfing, it's safe to say I LOVE travelling).

Music, Movies, and Books
Notes from the Underground (Dostoevsky) is my all-time favourite novel, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is my all-time favourite movie and Devin Townsend is my all-time favourite musician (I can't pick an album or song).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived with 30 guitarists in Spain and practised guitar all day.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can show you how to cook a few dishes, teach you a few words or sentences in Italian or a language less than one million people around the world know (Maltese- which really handy for having secret conversations in buses :P) or teach some basic Math.
I want to truly learn about the country I'm visiting, not just what I can read off Wikipedia.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good conversation and even better cooking.
