About Me

ABOUT ME

Love to try new things. I might not be the best at one things but know a little bit about a few things. Travel is my life and I love to see the world. Very out going and love the idea of having friends around the world. One of my favouite things to do is show friends the East Coast of Australia and my favourite beaches and national parks. Love to meet people from all other cultures and see the what the nightlife has to offer.

PHILOSOPHY

experiencing the world through endless second hand information is not enough. If we want true authenticity the we have to initiate it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Happy to cook up some soft tortillas. Most importantly be respectful to others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Home in Brisbane after 6 months travelling. Had some amazing hosts and great couch surfing meetings. Don't have my own place in Brisbane yet but can't wait to start hosting myself.

Interests

I love skydiving and recently bought my own parachute so I can skydive into all the cites around the world. When I left Thailand in June 2012 I finished my Open water diving course and hope to continue to be a dive master in Mexico later this year. I love Mexican food and margaritas. I have visited Mexico once back in 2007 but heading back again this year for 2 months to head to Guadalajara to visit the Tequila region and taste as much tequila as possible with the hope of one day opening a Tequila bar in my home town of Brisbane on the East Coast of Australia.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Burning Man festival would have to be right up there for me I have been three times. The festival is a huge arts and music festival in the middle of the Nevada desert in the States. Last year my friends and I bough a 1970 American school bus (platybus) see the FB page Platypus and the band. We still have the bus parked in San Francisco and plan to go as much as possible.
This year I got to skydive into Burning man the worlds biggest party.

New years eve in Quebec city for 07/08 which was Quebec celebrating 400 years as a province with some French Canadians I met travelling in Australia. It was -25 and we were out doors all night but this truly was the best way I could imagine to start the year.

I love to talk travel as much as I love to listen so hopefully we can share a margarita in your town or city soon.
