About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Have the best summer :)

ABOUT ME

I am a really friendly person...or at least try to be :) I like to think i work hard at my studies and i suppose when i have a deadline or exams i really work hard to do as best as i can.
I really like being around people and hearing about what they have recently been up to. I know how nice it is to have someone to talk to and i enjoy listening.

PHILOSOPHY

Be Happy and everyone will be happy around you. There's no point in being angry about anything because it makes everything feel so grim.
Laughing is a really important activity in life. I think that a laugh a day makes your whole world better.

I want to see and experience as much of the world as i can during my time here. I think visiting and meeting people of different cultures is crucial in understanding the world. I want to understand as much as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed for the first time with a lovely couple that made the experience unforgettable. I am in new zealand for a year and wanna meet as many new people as possible and see as much of the country as i can in the time i have here.

As soon as i get a permanent place, i wanna start hosting so i can meet people from different places and cultures.

Interests

Travelling, music, sailing, windsurfing, climbing, mountain walking....getting into snowboarding.

I am currently doing my masters degree in physics. I really enjoy the 'definite' answers that physics gives to physical world questions that might be asked. I really love learning and i don't think i ever want to stop. I intend to do a PHD when i finish, because there is always more stuff to learn about our world.

I started sailing and windsurfing in 2008 and since then have been hooked on them. I live two minutes from a lake and spend most of my summers on the water. I am also an instructor meaning i get paid to do what i love, which is a huge bonus. This means i get to climb and walk in the mountains very often.

Music, Movies, and Books

Where do i start.....lets just say that i watch films and t.v. when i have literally nothing to do.

I can't get enough music in my life!! I have a huge library on my laptop that has a genre for every mood and i listen almost every day whilst im studying, at the gym or just chilling out.
I'm always looking for new music so if you have some music you want to share...ill be very happy :)

I really enjoy reading....i don't do too much when im studying but i like a good read before bed! Again, not really into any types of books...just has to be well written!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was on holiday in Namibia and the owners of a campsite we were living on had a pet giraffe. I wanted to get a picture taken with it, but when i stood next to it, it kicked me right out the way!

In 2011 i hitchhiked from England all the way down through France and Spain to Morocco.

Countries I’ve Visited

Botswana, Croatia, France, Italy, Morocco, Namibia, Netherlands, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
