Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live forever as long as I can
ABOUT ME
I'm an American Peace Corps Volunteer living in Tete, Mozambique. I teach Biology to students...or at least, I try to. I'm only here for one more year and then I get to drown myself in the real world with things like jobs and paychecks and 401ks and shitty stuff like that. So I'm doing my best to have fun now. My best isn't always good enough.
PHILOSOPHY
Joe Strummer for President!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
It's been a while since I live so far in the bush. I live an hour and a half outside a smallish city in a country not too many people visit. But during the summer of 2013, I found places to stay in both Amsterdam and Brussels to phenomenal results!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
As I said before, CouchSurfing helped me in a pinch in two different European cities when I was alone, spoke none of the languages, and seriously considered sleeping on benches in parks. They really helped me enjoy Brussels and Amsterdam.
Interests
Interests usually include chain-smoking Marlboro-Reds, drinking whiskey, and arguing about something (preferably international politics or punk rock of the 1980s, but you can choose the topic if you'd like).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have lived in and around America's capital all of my life with a little traveling across America. I've visited a good portion of Europe. And now I live in a tiny town in the middle of Mozambique. I've got some stories for you if you want them.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can play guitar, piano, and ukulele.
I have a degree in Biology and a large knowledge of Chemistry.
I have a soft-spot for pop-culture and have studied it immensely.
I'm looking for a good conversation, something that makes me think harder, defend my positions, honestly consider the truths that I've believed for so long. And let me challenge yours as well.
