ABOUT ME

I am a very outgoing enthusiastic person always looking to have fun. I like to have an adventure whenever I can and to meet new people along the way. I am an athletic guy and always trying to find activities to stay active. I love to learn and experience new things every day. I am very friendly and am quick to make friends with just about anyone.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that life is all about the journeys and not necessarily about the destinations. It's about what you learn along the way, the people you meet and who's lives you touch (or the people who touch your life). It's about the experiences too, both good and not so good.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to meet new people while traveling in Scandanavia with my girlfriend this summer! I have heard great things about CS and would love to have someone show us around the interesting or less known places to see in each place. It is also a great way to make new friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not had the chance to participate yet, but my friends who worked in Germany had nothing but great things to say.

Centres d'intérêt

As I said in my description, I am very active. I love to stay busy and always have things to do. This would start with sports. Any and all sports are fun to play and most of them fun to watch. I also love to travel and see new places and experience new cultures. Aside from these two things I spend a lot of my time with my friends and family. My friends are my life and I am constantly going somewhere with them.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I love almost any type of music except metal. I grew up with 90s rock and my favorite band is the red hot chili peppers, but I have since starting liking rap, techno, and country.
I watch movies all the time and again enjoy almost any film. Some favorites are oceans 11, inception, wedding crashers, fight club, etc.
I haven't read as much as I want, but I do love to read, especially some of the old classics. But my favorite book will always be lord of the rings :)

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Every time I step into Notre Dame stadium since I was a kid and hear the roar of over 80,000 fans and watch my favorite team rush onto the field. It gives me goosebumps every time, especially when I am with a friend who is experiencing it for the first time.

When I was studying in Berlin I couldn't sleep one of the first nights so I went to the Brandenburg Gate in the middle of the night and it was so cool seeing it all empty and yet lit up.

I took a cruise down in Mexico in 2010 and watching the sun slowly set over crystal blue water and pink beaches off the coast of Cozumel while we boarded again was stunningly beautiful.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I am kind of a nerd :) as I am an engineer and love science things, especially in physics and electricity. History is another area I feel I have some knowledge as I am always reading about the past. I also love sports and try to know as much about my favorites I can.
As for things to learn, I want to know more about the arts, whether music, art, or photography.
