Overview
About Me
Tall, skinny human. I’m queer. I’m a doctor. I'm a foster carer. I’m vegetarian. I’m romantic. I’m sociable. I’m an environmentalist. I enjoy being challenged. I like learning things. I like board games and singing in groups (or on my own whilst driving).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I got into couchsurfing many many moons ago, and have had amazing experiences both hosting and surfing in different parts of the world. Most people are pretty interesting if you take the time to talk to them. I have met some beautiful people through this place that have left lasting impacts on my life.
I've dip in and out of hosting in the past, depending on where I’m living and how much time I have to give. But it's been a while as my partner and I have been fostering for the last few years which takes up the space our home has to offer right now.
Interests
Current things that occupy my time include: squash, strategy and abstract board games, trying to build meaningful things at work, re-learning the piano after many years away, basketball, podcasts about ecology, cooking seasonally, cycling for transportation purposes, dancing like no one is watching, preserving food, and many others.
