About Me
ABOUT ME
Born and raised in New York City but I'm constantly on the road, and am currently teaching abroad in Spain. I am also a visual artist and digital colorist who produces psychedelic styled artwork. This lets me express my soul- not the supernatural kind, of course!
I opt for a fringe life off the beaten path overall- as I've meditated on scenic beaches in Japan, trekked the sands in Israel, and engaged in organic agriculture around the Southwestern United States. I love interacting with all the varieties of people I encounter throughout my journeys while connecting to my natural surroundings.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books- I love a book that can challenge me on the concept of reality. I am definitely a fan of the Tao Te Ching, and Eastern Philosophy. Alan Watts, Krishnamurti, Eckhart Tolle, etc. I also enjoy children's books with colorful illustrations like those of Dr. Seuss! Anything super insightful, honestly.
Film- I generally am passionate about anything with a captivating artstyle, or something obscure- generally how a majority of my tastes are. Takashi Miike (Ichii the Killer, Gozu) and Richard Linklater (Waking Life, Boyhood) are examples of directors I enjoy. But sometimes, I go for lighter hearted films too.
Music- Bluegrass, rock, jazz, metal, I thrive on all kinds of music
Hall and Oates, Foreigner, Beethoven, Mozart, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Michael Jackson, Aerosmith, Europe, John Coltrane, Neil Young, Pat Metheny, Queen, Camel, Opeth, Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree, Boards of Canada, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Mark Slaughter, Black Sabbath, David Bowie, Infected Mushroom, it's pretty endless...
Food- Anything not peanuts, really. I usually follow a vegetarian diet but I'm very flexible.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I took a Japanese Film and Culture class in Tokyo at only 19 years old!
I met many famous anime and avant-garde figures along the way ncluding the famous music producer for Cowboy Bebop!
My training as a cultural samurai in the land of the rising sun will always resonate with me.
