ABOUT ME

I was born in a small rural town and grew up surrounded by nature and beauty. I am passionate about being active and am always craving new knowledge and experiences. I have many hobbies and the most difficult thing is finding time to do them all. I love music and play several instruments but my focus has been on the bass (both electric and upright). I have played soccer essentially my entire life and hope to play at a high level some time in my life. I am going to school full time and am studying physics and engineering and hoping to minor in chemistry and spanish. By my studies it may come as no surprise that I tend to be very analytical and mechanically structured but I have found that my other hobbies (music, dance, meditation, reading, cooking) help to balance me out. I have a bit of a wild side, granted the right opportunity and space, and am always willing to participate in a good adventure. There is very little that irritates me and for the most part I am extremely easy going and mellow.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have actually hosted many couch surfers here at my house but never formally through the website. I hope now to brach out further and instead of simply helping individuals who are passing through I can host travels from all over the world. I also use couch surfing to get in touch with locals of potential travel destinations. I think that there is no other way to experience the culture of a foreign land than by being shown through the guidance of local hosts. At the same time personal exploration I feel is very important and as much as some people can show me I need to experience it to truly know it.

I took a trip on my motorcycle for over 8,000 miles and visited ten national parks. My favorite was Glacier in northern Montana. At the top of the pass, surrounded by epic mountains and lushes prairies, the view is spectacular.
