Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I discovered Couchsurfing when I went to Australia this year. I visited some CS meetings and enjoyed it a lot, I met a lot of interesting people and made some friends.

Interests

I like art, history and science, so I visit museums and exhibitions often.
Also I enjoy just drinking a beer on a terrace or in a pub and talking to people about anything.
I travel as much as I can. I like learning about other cultures, and I enjoy nature: deserts, mountains, forests, waterfalls, beaches...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cooking Chinese food in a hostel in Suzhou (China) with the owners of the hostel who just started their business, and having a great time together despite vast cultural and language differences.

Driving across the wild west in the USA in a big black SUV and eating beef jerky, drinking way too much coke and being amazed by the unique landscapes of Utah, Arizona and Colorado that makes you feel you are on another planet. I can only imagine what the first pioneers felt when they first saw the Grand Canyon.

Trekking across the jungle in Thailand and seeing the most beautiful waterfalls, and enjoying the best Thai food ever. I tried my best to stand the spicyness of all the delicious sauces and dishes ;).
